Blah.
Posted on November 16th, 2009 No commentsBoy do I have a lot of work ahead of me. I need to update the code to my server status checkers, my sig designs (Q.Q; Before legel, it was PERFECT!), and work on other ‘projects’.
I also need to get a passport and visa soon as I am planning on visiting a couple buddies of mine in Malaysia for fun as well as business. I am very excited, as I haven’t been outside of the ‘States before, let alone literally halfway across the world.
And GUESS WHAT?
My birthday’s comin’ up. I’ll be 20 then. It’s Dec 11th, but I have to fight my way through 3 other birthdays in my family between now and then, not to forget Christmas 2 weeks after. Hah. I hope I get the new guitar I asked for. I’ll be so stoked! I found my perfect guitar ~ Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus-Top (Which gives it a flame maple body for more awesomeness in its looks!) with a Cherry Sunburst paint job. *drools* and for my “amp”, a Line6 Pod XT. Here’s a photo of it:

My next post will have some art, as well as the Fiesta Server Status updates and they should be ready this week. Cya then!

A Few Things
Posted on August 14th, 2008 No commentsThough I haven’t posted too much lately, it doesn’t mean I’ve been slacking off. I’ve been tied up being a Community Leader for Outspark, working on hosting a game server for Ferria, another Outspark CL; doing work such as writing a control panel for the game server, managing the entire backend of the game server, and trying to add things to the game client.
It makes me feel like I’m really a GM. Problems pop out of nowhere and I get everyone trying to contact me about the same thing… but not to worry, I do get to relieve my stress by chatting on ventrilo and playing Project Powder, which is now in Open Beta. For more information on Project Powder, or if ya wanna play with me, my in-game name is “Ian” and you need to download the client at http://www.project-powder.com.
The next thing I am VERY excited to test out is Outspark’s new FPS called BlackShot. Although this game might not have Unreal 3 Engine graphics, its gameplay makes it look very promising and should be a great asset to the Outspark arsenal. It even has 4-player co-op/PvE! I even watch a long video on youtube that shows a tournament in Korea for the game. BlackShot has not yet been released, so you can still sign up for the Closed Beta test at http://www.playblackshot.com.
Stay tuned for further updates!

WordPress
Posted on July 20th, 2008 No commentsI definitely like the simplicity and how easy on the eyes WordPress is, but I have to say I shan’t be using it once I finish writing my own blog script. This is because I know how my blog script works and how I can integrate anything I know how to program into it without worrying which files do what.
If you want, you can look at my WIP, but I’ve got registration disabled for security reasons.

Wellp.. School’s Out…
Posted on May 22nd, 2008 No comments… And I don’t officially graduate for another week or two, but I have no more school. Yay me. It feels very weird though, not having any more school at all (except for college, which is totally different) and the feeling of never seeing some of my friends ever again. Such a strange feeling…

Dynamic Ijji Gunz Sigs – Integration status
Posted on May 21st, 2008 No commentsUnfortunately I haven’t had much time at all to work on anything but schoolwork because that is what comes first. I have decided for now to just continue working on it as part of my own blogging system since I can create it without any limits. On here, I am quite unfamiliar with the way things are coded and hopefully I can study it further.
My last day of High School is tomorrow. I can’t believe it at all. It feels as if this is -the- turning point in my life and I’m afraid of losing many friends as we all go off to college. (Hopefully we will all communicate via phone, IM, or Facebook.)
Back to the sigs part, after I get out of school, I have until June 9th to get things in working condition before college starts. I also have to work, so that’s going to cut out a chunk of time, too. Once I get things done though, I will post a link to the DIGS control panel and you should be able to get yours there.
Future updates to the main DIGS system (minus the integration part) will have a CPU-saving feature of having the signatures only update when someone goes to their CP and clicks an “update” button. This saves a BUNCH of CPU/Memory because once thousands if not more users start to refresh pages all over containing the image, the server would process the script by generating a new image every time it is refreshed, which takes some CPU usage and time to process.

Earthquake!
Posted on April 18th, 2008 No commentsIt’s pretty uncommon for Illinois to get earthquakes, but this morning at approx. 4:36am (GMT-6), a picture rattling against my wall woke me up. I sat up, looked around, and noticed my whole bed was shaking too! It took me a while to realize what was going on because of the time it had occurred, but I looked on the internet soon after and numerous reports of an earthquake in Southern Illinois had been posted. It was a 5.2 on the Richter Scale, and was reported to have been felt as far as Ontario.
Bah… 4:36am… such bad timing… though it is the first earthquake I have witnessed. I could’ve witnessed one a couple years ago, but I was on a 2-week trip in New Mexico.
